Universe Has Your Back Pick a Card – Day 7

Hi all, hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I’ve been spending time having a good clear out in the house today. We still had stuff we hadn’t sorted from our move back last year so it was nice to finally get around to it.

The card for today speaks for itself:

Indeed it is. It is amazing what you can create from a space of happiness and joy.

Much love and light to you 💜

Universe Has Your Back Pick a Card – Day 6

Today’s card is here to remind us to accept love into our lives, and let it be our teacher and guide to creating the life we envision. Let love guide you back to the light within yourself, which in turn guides others to theirs 🔮💞🔮

Much love and light to you 💜

Universe Has Your Back Pick a Card – Day 5

The card for today is a simple and beautiful message:

The more you connect with yourself and live your life the way you want to experience it, the more help and support you will attract from the universe. This could be people, finances or even ideas to help you on your path. Open up to your dreams 🔮💞🔮

Much love and light to you 💜

Universe Has Your Back Pick a Card – Day 3

Hello, I’m back with another daily guidance card. Today’s card is a beautiful message about trusting the guidance you are receiving from the universe, and in turn your own inner wisdom. Trust that all happens for a reason, even if we sometimes don’t understand what that reason is.

The card today is:

Much love and light to you 💜

Universe Has Your Back Pick a Card – Day 2

Well I have to say I didn’t expect the same card to come out again today (and trust me I shuffled those cards a few times over), but I am constantly getting surprised by the coincidences and syncronicities that happen on a regular basis for me.

The card for today is the same as yesterday, which leads me to believe this is an important message that needed reinforcing for someone (myself included), so thank you universe 🔮😍

Much love and light to you 💜

30 days of Universe Has Your Back

I thought I would have a bit of fun for anyone interested in tarot or oracle, like myself. I am going to be pulling a card a day for all of September from my Universe Has Your Back deck. For anyone guided to take a look these cards are pretty self explanatory so I won’t really be going into detail with them.

If you would like to take a look at my Instagram account @crystalreader_zar where I do more in depth general collective readings, or more personalised readings are also available to purchase from my Etsy account @DragonZarCrystals.

First up today’s card is below:

Thank you indeed. I am definitely learning to see through perceived fears and to work on expanding into experiences that serve my highest good. Learning where I am holding myself back has been a major challenge for me to overcome, but I am finally trusting in my soul’s guidance.

I am wondering whether any of the cards will be duplicated over the course of the 30 days, or whether they will all be different! 🤔😊

I look forward to finding out 🔮

Much love and light to you 💜

Party planning

Anyone else had to plan a family party? I’ve been quite lucky in that up until moving home last year, I’ve never had to do this all by myself. It’s something I have always wondered if I’d be any good at.

Well I finally got a chance to find that out when my family decided my place was perfect for a little get together. So I got my party planner head on and starting by writing myself a list in advance of what I would need to buy. I did this three days before I would be going shopping, so I could plan out exactly in my head how I was going to do all of this.

Three days later, and the day before our get together, I headed to the local supermarket, without my list. I had left it on the table in the house when I left that morning. Luckily I had planned everything out in my head so I still had an idea of everything I needed.

Two hours later and I was back home with my food haul. I checked my list and I had succeeded in getting everything I needed. Packing everything away I decided to write myself a checklist of all the preparations for the next day, to ensure everything went smoothly. I got in an early night for me and set my alarm for the next morning.

The day of preparations had arrived. I had snoozed my alarm, so ended up getting up an hour later than planned but I didn’t feel stressed at all. That is amazing for me.

Five hours later, I’d been on my feet for that long, everything was ready and I had just enough time to get changed and sit down for a cup of coffee. Phew!

And a good party isn’t just about the food. Drinks for older and younger generations were provided and the entertainment; a good playlist of popular music videos hits the spot for both an older and younger audience. Along with my nieces favourite game of ‘What am I?’ Which gave us all a good laugh.

I surprised myself with how easily the planning and preparation came. I think I hit the jackpot with my parents, as we couldn’t really afford outside catering at our birthday parties growing up, I have three sisters, so you can imagine the expense of all those birthdays, so my mum would do all the catering whilst having four kids under her feet. My dad was working so my mum really did all the party prep. I realised how amazing my mum actually was and you bet I messaged her that night and thanked her for being so awesome.

So that’s another skill I can put under my belt for future use. Its amazing what I’m discovering about myself.

Much love and light to you 💜

30 Days of Yoga complete

Well it’s been 38 days to be exact and I’ve skipped a few days in between but I am still enjoying it. I can’t believe how much of a difference Yoga has made to my overall health and wellbeing; physical, mental and emotional.

I’m keeping it…Yoga that is lol. It has definitely also helped to increase my flexibility and core strength and gives me much needed me time, so I’ve decided to make it part of my regular exercise. I will now usually wake up early morning and do Yoga, around 7am, and if I’m tired I’ll go back to bed for an hour. It works for me. I have even had a few nights where, if I can’t sleep, I’ll get up and do some Yoga and it helps me to sleep. It’s good for releasing any tension that has built up. I would recommend making it a part of any exercise plan. It’s definitely not the only exercise I do, but it’s become an important part of what I do to keep myself healthy, happy and healing.

I hope you enjoy the videos I linked in my previous two posts as much as I did. I’m looking forward to many more days of Yoga 🧘‍♀️

Much love and light to you 💜

Fitness Starts with Nutrition

Before you even think about starting a new exercise regimen you really should look at what you are putting into your body. If you aren’t eating a healthy amount of carbs, fats and protein no amount of exercise is going to give you the optimum results achievable. If you want to shape and tone your body whilst remaining healthy, energetic and emotionally stable then you need to make sure your body is getting the best nutrition possible. This does not mean fad diets and extreme calorie control. This means being aware of what you are putting into your body and when to exercise for the best results. There will be trial and error because every one is different. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes when figuring out what works for you.

For me, personally, I have found the best way is to constantly confuse my metabolism so I don’t store extra fat, so I have found a balance of carb cycling works best for me. You can find this information on the internet and in nutrition books. So do some research, take some notes and don’t be afraid to try things out. If you are concerned about any change in diet, or have food intolerances, always make sure to check with a doctor. Make sure you only take what works for you and leave anything that doesn’t. That is how you will find your balance and connection with food. Once you find what works for your nutritional needs, you will find that you not only feel healthier and happier, but you will sleep better and have more energy. You may even find that you want to exercise. You will find you have energy to burn and the best way to do this is to move your body.

Fitness starts with nutrition, not the other way around.

Much love and light to you 💜
